In 2025, Duely set out to build something the M&A industry hasn't seen before: an AI-native firm that loves doing the grunt work.

Not another AI platform, or chatbot for M&A professionals. Instead, a team that combines proprietary AI technology with hands-on expertise to deliver the output — data room summaries, gap analyses, due diligence reports — so deal teams can focus on their high-value expertise.

We kept hearing the same thing from both sides of the table: clients no longer want to pay premium rates for document work that AI can handle, and deal teams would rather spend their time on high-value strategic work than manually sifting through hundreds of files. The billable hours model is under serious pressure — and shiny new AI platforms won't fix it.

So we took the Duely approach: we built an AI engine that integrates directly into virtual data rooms — the central hub of every M&A transaction. From that position, we deliver our AI-native product at scale. No platform switching. No change management. Just the work, done.
